The Unpacking Begins

Over this last weekend Sarah and I moved from Huntington Beach to Pasadena. It was a long tough move and we’ve only barely begun to unpack. Despite being up for 28 hours one of those days, things seem to be working out, as we’re both saving a lot of commuting time. A huge thank you to everyone who helped us: in HB Jeriel, George, & Nikita and in Pasadena Alex, Ben, & Taylor. Also a big thanks to the Tamsuts for helping us get a fridge. And of course thanks to our parents for supporting us in this transition. We’ll definitely miss Huntington Beach, but we hope that Pasadena grows on us the same easy HB did.
Making Moves

Sarah and I are making moves.
After making the move in our relationship to the married life and moving each of our jobs, we haven’t finished moving just yet. Although we’re both extremely sad to be leaving Huntington Beach we’ve decided to reclaim some time lost to commuting, by moving to Pasadena, CA. It’s our hope to grow to love Pasadena as we have Huntington Beach. Hopefully being closer to some friends means we can rekindle those relationships. No matter what happens we’ll just keep moving forward.
Making the Move to a New Job
This coming week marks the last week I will be working at World Race Productions. I have had an amazing experience and was fortunate to have met many wonderful people and gain so much experience at ‘the race.’ After 7 seasons of being apart of such a great show, I am very saddened to leave yet excited to begin the next chapter in my career. I’ll be making the move over to Shed Media and hope to add to their successes.
Dog Park!

Joey and Rocky are enjoying a nice sunny day at the dog park.

I’m very please to Announce that the website/blog is up and running!*
*you know that because you’re reading this.
We hope to post as much as we can took keep a digital journal of our life together – the small steps & the big ones. Pay attention to who authored the Post because some may come from me (Darrick) or from Sarah – if its from the both of us we’ll mention it in the post itself. Feel free to comment on anything and give us feedback and thoughts on improving the site, and life in general.
I’ve tried to make it as convenient as possible, and though I don’t facebook – I’ve made the blog able to accept your facebook login to leave comments (still ironing out the kinks). But hopefully there will be several updates to posts and structure of the site. Everyone knows I have a few websites, but this one is intended to be a more personal one.
Don’t worry to those of you feel nostalgic about our wedding, I know that every once and a while Sarah or I will visit the WEDsite which is still available online and linked in our pages, but will no longer be updated.
